Morning Coffee Run – Sunday 19th February – Scarborough Harbour.
Given the current temperatures and who know how long this will continue for, the run for this month will be an earlier start, with coffee at the end (and the beginning of course), so we can be heading home in the cooler part of the day.
The destination for coffee and morning tea is Sea Salt and Vine Cafe, Reef Point Esplanade, Scarborough. Our trip up there will take us via Clear Mountain, Bullocky Rest, Mango Hill and across the peninsula to Scarborough.
The starting point for the run will be Café 63 at Stafford City Shopping Centre, Stafford. The shopping Centre is on the southern side of Stafford Road, between Webster and Appleby Roads. Enter the centre from Stafford Road, stay in the left-hand lane and head to the very back of the shopping centre. When you reach the rear car park, swing right (it’s the only way the road goes) and Café 63 is on the right. We will be there (Yellow Stag) and there is plenty of parking.
The plan is to leave at 8.30, so if you want coffee beforehand, be at café 63 at around 8.00am. Departing at 8.30 should have us at Scarborough at around 10.00 am for more coffee, morning tea, car admiration and chatting.
A detailed list of directions will be provided on the day.
Can you please let either myself or Mike Taylor know if you intend to join the run.
